Germany is again imparting the world greatest auto news! This time the luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz has revolutionized the automobile market with its brilliant creation named SLS AMG Coupé Electric Drive. It is a car that Mercedes has unveiled lately at Paris International Motor Show and is hailed as the most powerful electric supercar in the world til date. This might not be good news for the competitors of this particular luxury brands but this sure is good news for all those who love eco-friendly cars and were always longing to get the maximum in this limited category.

 

As per Mercedes officials, they have used a technology that was developed actually for Formula One in this electric supercar which has four independent and efficient electric motors to it. All these motors are quite sufficient enough to produce a collective output of 740 hp. This electric supercar also boasts of peak torque of 1,000Nm. The supercar goes 155 miles on a single charge which is imparted to it by the 60kWh 400V lithium-ion battery. A wall box that is basically a quick charge point for this supercar can fully charge it within 3 hours. The power packed zero-emission supercar is surely going to burn a hole in pockets of buyers when it will go on sale in Europe sometime next year at an outrageous price of €416,500 ($536,000).
